At FETC last week one of the APPs I hoarded on to my iPad from a Kathy Schrock workshop was Perfect Video. This super cool, super easy, and amazingly free APP allows users to create fun videos. You can add pictures, videos, and text. It is so easy and simple I created our Morning News video this week on the APP while riding on a bus coming home from a 3 day field trip to St Augustine.
See it here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5yiOCtgzynk

To add pictures and videos to your project, touch the film icon at the bottom of the page. Select the items you want. You can go back at anytime to add more. To arrange the pictures in your desired order, touch the 9 square box icon on the lower right side of the screen.. There you can touch and drag the pictures to your required order.

The APP adds transitions in to the movies automatically, you can change the transitions by clicking on the transition block between the content. You can also change the timing of transitions with that option as well.

Adding text to the pictures is simple. Touch the T at the bottom of the screen. This will add a text page. Type your message there. If you need to move the text page, touch the 9square icon and drag the text to the correct place.

You can also add music to the background of the movie by clicking on the music note at the bottom of the page. You can choose from loaded songs or your own music library. You can drag the music on the working page to stretch it or end it. You can also record your own narration by clicking the microphone at the bottom of the page.

To see your project, touch the blue arrow in the top right hand side. When all is good, touch the share icon (the up arrow) on the top right and determine where you want your work to go.

The free version has been a great tool for me so far. I’m sure I will find limitations and may need to upgrade. If it continues to be a good resource,my will gladly pay!
Here are a few more I have made:
